My Story

Hello, I'm Elizabeth Plant.  I started my complementary therapy practice in 2009 whilst living in West Sussex.  I trained initially at Chichester College of Further Education in massage, aromatherapy and reflexology and then went onto further advanced studies and hold nationally recognised UK qualifications that comply with the National Occupational Standards. I worked at various venues around Chichester including Dancing Dragon Acupuncture, Hamblin Hall and Oldwick Therapy Centre. In 2015 I moved back to my old hometown of Knutsford, Cheshire after 14 years away.

I have taken advanced training in anatomy, nutrition, reflexology and clinical massage techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy plus specific pain-release protocols for shoulder girdle, hip and pelvis and lower back in Brighton (Jing Institute) and London.  I recently completed a soft tissue course to further my massage and anatomy skills as part of the Masters in Osteopathy track at the College of Osteopaths. I specialise in holistic therapeutic wellness to manage and ease distress and discomfort from pain.  I am also qualified as a Healthy Eating Advisor and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Professional Memberships:

I am passionate about the benefits of bodywork and nutrition. Changing your lifestyle and eating habits can enable you to feel the best you can and taking time for selfcare is imperative.  My own experiences with my own health enable me to serve my clients better. As a child I had many ear infections and eczema and this led me to an interest in herbalism.  Extensive orthodontics left me with a very painful jaw issue (TMJ syndrome).   When I was in my twenties, two experts on autism advised me that they believed I had Asperger’s; my life started to make more sense - panic attacks, my social awkwardness, my collections.  I also had a phobia cure done with timeline therapy by an inspiring life coach and NLP practitioner and from that I realised that our minds can be guided by our internal voice and beliefs to think either negatively or positively.   Osteopathy and massage therapy helped me too to manage my body’s aches and pains.   Feeling inspired, I qualified in reflexology, never thinking that I would come to like working on feet but I did.  I felt my calling in life and I decided to continue to formalise my training to not only help myself and my family but others too.  I focus on holistic lifestyle implementation and self care. My massage therapy clients receive cutting-edge clinical and relaxation techniques.  My health coaching clients receive an emphasis on whole foods nourishment.  This all improves personal, family and work lives.

Experience to date includes:

Who do I work with?

Massage therapy can help manage those living with pain-related conditions.  I’ve worked with senior citizens to people living with M.E., whiplash injured, or stress-induced headaches plus pregnant clients.

Health coaching is for those who need and want support to make dietary and lifestyle changes.  If you feel it's too hard to go it alone then how would you like to have me along on your journey as your guide on the side?  As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.

When people ask me what I do, I say my mission is to support people who are feeling exhausted by their lives and bodies to manage their stress, pain and digestion issues in order to improve their energy levels and wellbeing. Many people feel like they are living like a zombie took over their brain and body with lethargy, discomfort and no get up and go.
